But what is GTO Base?
Simply put, GTO BASE is a GTO (“Game Theory Optimal”) solution library for Spin & Go, Heads-Up Sit and Go, Multi-Table Tournaments, Heads-Up Cash, and 6-Max Cash formats.
The developers at SIMPLE POKER have essentially “solved” for a huge number of preflop and postflop “spots” / situations which commonly occur for almost all poker disciplines.

How I use GTO Base
Okay so yes, it is a GTO Library (maybe you’ve seen similar before), but there are three key functions of GTO BASE that I believe make it stand out from the rest and may change the way you study in future.
1.) GTO “View” UI
Navigating a large number of solutions is usually quite a chore even using the most advanced solvers today, however, GTO BASE has simplified this process with their cleverly designed “View” UI.
In this tab you can quickly switch between effective stacks, positions, actions and boards to find the spot you want to study with efficiency.
2.) Drag and drop “Upload” hand review
Guys, this is a GAME CHANGER.
Using their “Upload” function you can literally drag and drop an entire session (or sessions) into GTO BASE and they will automatically analyse your play / provide aggregate reports on your frequencies in comparison to GTO.
Once your hands are uploaded and processed, you are provided an overwhelming number of methods to analysis your play.
I particularly like the aggregated stats report where you can quickly identify where you are deviating from GTO the most and efficiently identify your leaks.
3.) GTO Trainer
If you’re struggling with a particular aspect of your game or you simply want to test your skills in randomised scenarios, you can use the GTO BASE GTO Trainer to quickly create a “Trainer Configuration” to study specific stack depth / preflop action / board texture or face off in randomised spots versus a GTO AI taken directly from the GTO BASE library.
Unlike some other GTO trainers, using GTO BASE makes it possible to quickly navigate to a full hand matrix for each trained spot so you can drill down into strategies for both the combination provided during practice and the entire range of hands you might play from each position so you can compare strategies.
